Dr Clifford Albert

MD CM, CCFP, FASLMS, MBA DIPLOMATE, Mcgill University 

Dr. Clifford Albert graduated from McGill University in Medicine in 1995 on the Dean’s Honour list achieving his MD CM. He attended the University of Montreal in General Surgery between 1995-1997 and graduated in Family Medicine in 1998.

He is a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. He served as an attending physician in Emergency Medicine at Jean Talon Hospital between 1998-2009. Since 1998, he has served as Medical Director of the Canadian Institute for Laser Surgery and the College Medical Centre.

Dr. Albert has been a pioneer in the use of lasers since 1993 and has introduced multiple laser and radiofrequency devices worldwide. He has lectured at multiple international conferences and helped train thousands of physicians in the use of cosmetic botulinum toxin, fillers, lasers and radiofrequency devices. He was a member of the first team to introduce the Intragastric Ballon for obesity in North America in 2005.

He has been interviewed by magazines such as Fashion Magazine and Harper’s Bazaar and frequently appears in the Montreal Gazette and CTV news as well as the french media in Montreal. He has been listed in Canada’s Best Nips and Tucks multiple times. Dr. Albert appears regularly on The Passion Show with Dr.Laurie Betito on CJAD 800 discussing the latest in cosmetic rejuvenation.

He has participated in multiple charity events, donated his services pro bono, and raised money for various causes including the Canadian Breast Cancer Research Foundation and the Women Health Network. He recently completed the Lavaman Triathlon raising funds for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society of Canada.
